What is Hipora? Hipora is a 3-layer membrane that prevents water from entering and releasing moisture. It has a microporous structure. It is a premium fabric with a polyurethane coating, the layers of material have tiny holes to prevent water from penetrating but moisture can not penetrate. It is really amazing to keep you warm and dry. The first layer prevents water from entering. It has pores with a diameter of less than 0.5 um. The opening is so small that no water can penetrate but moisture escapes. The second layer is a honeycomb structure that allows moisture to escape through the first layer. It absorbs moisture so that your body does not sweat and the moisture slowly escapes. All this on a microscopic and macroscopic level you will never feel. The third layer is very dense for extra water protection and ensures no water can penetrate. All three layers together make Hipora and the Hipora glove is used in our ski gloves that keep your hands warm and dry at the same time.
